Job Description

Our client located in the Boston Metro Area is seeking a full-time, permanent LICSW to oversee their outpatient behavioral health program and act as Clinical Services Director. The ideal candidate is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 2 years of experience treating patients with addiction/trauma, 3 years of supervisory experience, and is Bilingual in English/Spanish. This position is offering relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, and immediate benefits.

Responsibilities of the LICSW:

  • Determines nature of client’s situation by interviewing client, assessing medical, psychological, emotional and social information.
  • Fosters client’s action or adjustment by interpreting attitudes and patterns of behavior, explaining and suggesting new options, participating in quality reviews and reporting needed changes.
  • Supervises care staff, assists in the allocation of caseloads, coordinates activities related to mental health and substance abuse treatment
  • Provides leadership in training and oversight for crisis response team
  • Actively participates in meetings, case reviews, supervisory sessions, etc.
  • Assessment and case management, planning, including revision of care plans for patients not progressing, collaborating with billing provider via participation in psych consults
  • Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.

Minimum Requirements of the LICSW:

  • Master's degree in social work, psych, counseling
  • LICSW
  • Bilingual - Spanish & English
  • 2 years of experience working with addiction/crisis management
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in an outpatient setting
  • COVID vaccination
