Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time
Southeastern Arizona | Inpatient & Home Health
A community-focused healthcare system in Southeastern Arizona is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its rehabilitation team. Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language pathology evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Deliver services in inpatient and home health settings
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participate in supervision or mentorship activities if applicable
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current Arizona Department of Health Services SLP License
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology theory and clinical practice
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency
- Understanding of safe patient handling and body mechanics
