Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW - Acute Experience Required (NOCS)

CareerStaff Unlimited is looking to hire a LCSW for full-time, contract opportunities in Los Angeles, CA. Qualified nurses will have previous experience in an acute hospital setting as well as in the ER and PSYCH. Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed.

This position will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with a focus on psychosocial issues, end of life issues, homelessness, substance dependence and discharge planning. Daily patient load is approximately 22-26.

Local Contract

Hourly Rate: $47

Weekly Total: $1,974

MORE ABOUT THE LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER - (LCSW) - POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized services. Responsibilities for this opportunity include, but are not limited to:

1. Provide direct patient care and function as a patient advocate

2. Assess the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients

3. Coordinate the patient and family/significant other education process

4. Continuously plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process

5. Participate with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care

6. Perform other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER - (LCSW) - POSITION:

1. Minimum of 1 Year previous experience

2. Must have experience in an acute hospital setting, as well as in ER and Psychiatrics.

3. Must have experience in Social Work and discharge planning.

4. LCSW Required

5. BLS issued through American Heart Association

6. Must be fully vaccinated

7. Must be eligible to work in the United States

8. Schedule consists of 12 hour days; 3 days a week

9. Must be flexible to work weekends as needed or required.
