Our client located in the Dallas, Texas area is seeking a full-time permanent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join their respiratory team. The ideal candidate has one (1) year of experience working as an RRT/RCP, able to start within 30 days, eligible to obtain their Texas license, and already RRT/RCP certified.

Job Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT):
- Meets patient’s goals and needs and provides quality care
- Conduct pulmonary function tests
- Assess and interpret evaluations and test results
- Determine respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians
- Help patient accomplish treatment plan
- Administer inhalants, operating mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators
- Directs treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants
- Evaluate effects of the respiratory therapy treatment plan
- Complete discharge planning by consulting with medical staff members
Minimum Job Requirements of the RRT or RCP:
- RRT Certified or RCP Certified
- Current or eligible to obtain Texas license
- BLS Certified
- One (1) year of experience
- Comfortable working the day shift
