Ultrasound Technologist (Full-Time) – Southeastern North Carolina

Location: Dunn, NC area (Southeastern North Carolina)

Schedule: Full-time | Day and evening shifts available | Rotating weekends/holidays

A leading healthcare system in Southeastern North Carolina is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join its dynamic imaging team. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform quality control checks to ensure accurate image capture.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to support timely diagnosis and care plans.
• Maintain accurate records, complete EMR documentation, and follow all infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide patient-centered care across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Qualifications:

• Required: Registered by ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) – or registry-eligible (must become certified within 12 months of hire).
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• 1+ year of experience preferred, but new grads are welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift/bend, and respond quickly to patient needs.
