Responsibilities of the Quality Supervisor (MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- The Department Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the departments are in compliance with CAP, JCAHO, and other accrediting agencies.
- A Change Advocate who looks to streamline processes and improve performance
- Prepare lab for audits. (CAP, JCAHO, etc.)
Requirements of the Quality Supervisor (MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- 7+ years of experience/training in high complexity laboratory preferred
- 5+ years of Supervisory experience preferred
- Certified Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist thru ASCP/AMT
- BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
