Highlights of the Radiation Therapist role:

• The Radiation Therapist sets up and delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the physician according to established standards and practices
• Radiation Oncology electronic medical record software knowledge is required.
• Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Day shift- 8 am- 4:30 pm
• 72 hours per two-week pay period
• Sign on bonus

Requirements of the Radiation Therapist:

• ARRT registered in RTT
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Vermont State RTT license or board-eligible
• 1 year of experience in Radiation Therapy in a hospital or clinic setting
• 5 years of experience is preferred.
