Our client located in the Southwest Georgia area is searching for a Chief Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology to join their organization and lead their team in a large, acute care hospital. This is a permanent full-time permanent position that is seeking at least six years of clinical experience, IMRT experience, and LDR/HDR experience. CHP certification is required.

This is a permanent full-time permanent position that is seeking at least six years of clinical experience, IMRT experience, and LDR/HDR experience.

Responsibilities of the Physicist-Radiation Oncology
- Responsible for the quality control program in the Radiation Therapy Department
- Calibration of all equipment, chart checks, radiation safety functions, and maintaining all records related to activities
- Testing, Calibration, and QC of linear accelerators
- Assisting the Dosimetrist in treatment planning
Requirements of the Physicist-Radiation Oncology
- Master's degree in Physics or related field
- Six years of clinical Radiation Oncology Required
- IMRT experience
- LDR/HDR experience preferred
- American Board of Health Physics, Certified Health Physicist (CHP) required
