Responsibilities of the Lead Mammography Technologist
- Runs quality control checks for temperature, and makes necessary troubleshooting adjustments to adhere to QC parameters
- Explains mammographic procedures to all patients
- Ensures preparation of the patient rooms
- Inputs patient information into a database
- Supervises Women’s Imaging Technologists
Requirements of the Lead Mammography Technologist
- ARRT Certification
- 2-4 years related experience is required
- BLS Certification
- Certification in Mammography
