Job Responsibilities of the CT - MRI Technologist Lead:

• Performs professional duties involved in a variety of Computed Tomography (CT) and/or MRI exams
• Responsible for patient care, comfort, and completion of required procedures
• Responsible for safe radiation protection practices
• On-call responsibilities may be required
• Must be knowledgeable in the area of patient requirements, especially safety, and comfort
• Must be familiar with all types of radiographic equipment and accessories used in the department responsible for the assessment, treatment, and care of patients, creating the work schedule, QC/QA programs and processes, education and training, ordering supplies, time card approval, evaluations, ensuring regulatory agency compliance, and any other duties of daily operations at site(s) by organizing and prioritizing procedures and delegating specific duties to keep patient flow effective and in a timely manner
• Day Shift 7 am- 3:30 pm

Minimum Job Requirements for the CT - MRI Technologist Lead:

• Must have current California Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Licensure and ARRT (R.T.)
• ARMRIT Certification is acceptable in place of ARRT MRI Certification.
• Must have and maintain BLS or obtain it within the orientation process
• Must have and maintain IV Certification or obtain it within 6 months of accepting the role
• Must one (1) year of C.T. Experience and one (1) year of M.R.I. experience
