Your responsibilities will include evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, patient education, and discharge planning aimed at maximizing the functional level of each patient.

Job Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients, making necessary modifications to therapy programs and goals.
• Maintain thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring accurate charge entry and knowledge of reimbursement practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, departmental colleagues, and the medical care team, providing education and support.
• Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Advance clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
• Disseminate knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues, adhering to organizational and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Masters' or Bachelors' degree plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification/License/Registration:
  • Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
