Job Description

Currently looking for Physical Therapist / Athletic Trainer to fill an opening with in an healthcare facility located around the Winnebago, Illinois area. Interested candidates should have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapist with a passion to work in a team setting, work with Athletes, provide great patient care, and have a minimum of 1 (one) year of Physical Therapy experience. Interested candidate must obtained IL PT license before start-date.

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist / Athletic Trainer

  • Working with coaches, athletes, and medical professionals to evaluate the player's condition.
  • Creating exercise and nutrition plans.
  • Speaking to coaches, family members, and athletes to set health and fitness goals.
  • Designing training and rehabilitation programs for athletes.
  • Using knowledge of sports-related injuries to diagnose and treat athletes.
  • Perform diagnosis on individuals of different ages who have restricted movements and performance due to certain physical injuries they are suffering from.
  • The role of the physical therapist extends beyond helping patients to move their bodies, it also involves encouraging and motivating them to live fit and healthy even after treatment.
  • Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

Minimum Requirements of the Physical Therapist / Athletic Trainer

  • Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy programs
  • Active IL PT license, or eligible to get
  • 20 hours as Athletic Trainer and 20 hours as outpatient Physical Therapist
  • Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
  • 9 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Friday
