(Archived) Occupational Therapist (Outpatient/Lymphedema)

Currently looking for an outpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) with Lymphedema experience to fill an opening with an Outpatient facility located around the Duluth, Georgia area. Interested candidates should have both, previous OT experience, and at least, a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, with a passion to work within an outpatient setting while treating lymphedema cases. Interested candidate should also have a valid Georgia OT license, or already have started the process of obtaining it. Very competitive compensation package with relocation assistance available!

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist (OT):

• Must have 1 (one) year of Occupational Therapy experience
• Must have experience within Lymphedema treatments
• Active, or pending, Georgia Occupational license
• Outpatient Setting
• Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
• Day shifts; Monday – Friday schedule 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist (OT)

• The Occupational Therapist facilitates development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.
• Evaluates results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending and implementing adjustments and modifications.
• Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
