Job Responsibilities for the Radiologic Technologist
- Prepare examination rooms for patient evaluations.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals for optimal imaging results.
- Position patients and equipment, provide procedure explanations, and ensure patient comfort.
- Input scan sequences into the computer, adjust settings for ideal image quality, and monitor patient safety.
- Produce diagnostic images, relay critical information to physicians, and update patient records efficiently.
Minimum Requirements for the X-Ray Technologist:
- ARRT(R) Certification.
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- BLS Certification.
- Eligibility for MRT License in Texas or current license holder.
- 6 months of experience as an X-ray technician is ideal, but not mandatory.
- Ability to commence employment within 30 days.
