Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Rad Tech (ARRT) to join their team near Charlotte, NC. As an Interventional Rad Tech, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during minimally invasive procedures, using advanced imaging techniques to guide the placement of medical devices and the delivery of therapeutic agents.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an ARRT-certified Interventional Rad Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and embolizations, is preferred.

Job Responsibilities for the Interventional Rad Tech:

  • Performs specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage of interventional and angiographic procedures under the direction of a physician
  • Explains the procedure to the patient and prep the patient for the procedure
  • Circulates during the procedure and maintains responsibility for patient comfort
  • Records and processes hemodynamic reports, contrast media records, and charges promptly and accurately

Minimum Requirements for the Interventional Rad Tech:

  • ARRT certification in Radiology
  • BLS
  • One year of experience in diagnostic and one year in Interventional Radiology
  • Current CPR
