A Day Shift Medical Technologist is needed for our client in North Central Texas for a full-time, permanent placement opportunity. The ideal candidate will have ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist. While at least 1 year of experience is preferred new grads will be considered for this role. Responsibilities of the Blood Bank Medical Technologist:
- Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
- Must be comfortable with the workload that comes with larger facilities
- Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests in all lab departments, including Blood Bank
- Able to use various types of machinery, lab equipment, and complex computer programs to perform the test.
Requirements of the Medical Technologist
- Trained in an accredited MT program.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or a related science.
- Ability to use CRT and diagnostic equipment.
