Our client located in the New York City is seeking a Laboratory Manager - Microbiology to join their leadership team. You will oversee 50+ FTE's. Enjoy a full-time permanent placement opportunity that offers a predominately Day shift with competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities of the Laboratory Manager - Microbiology
- Abide by Laboratory protocol and procedures
- Able to use various types of machinery, lab equipment and complex computer programs to perform tests
- Supervise staff in Microbiology
Requirements of the Laboratory Manager - Microbiology
- Master's Degree preferred however, will consider Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related Health Administration
- NYS License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Five years of previous management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
