Our client in Eastern Tennessee, just outside of Knoxville, is searching for full-time, night shift Medical Technologist. Qualified Candidates must have an AS/BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science. Must be eligible for TN licensure. ASCP/AMT certification and experience are preferred. Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist
- Performs various laboratory tests and procedures while adhering to standard operating procedures on patient specimens to assist in the diagnosis, study, treatment, or prevention of disease.
- Performs preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments and calibrates equipment and instruments as required
Requirements of the Medical Technologist
- ASCP certification or national equivalent preferred
- Trained in an accredited MT/MLT program
