Our client in Western Kansas is seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join their laboratory family. Day shift. Candidates should have (or be eligible for) a national certification through the ASCP or AMT as an MLT.
Our client in Western Kansas is seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join their laboratory family. Day shift. Candidates should have (or be eligible for) a national certification through the ASCP or AMT as an MLT.
Responsibilities of the Medical Lab Technician (MLT):
- Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures
- Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests in all general lab areas.
- Able to use various types of machinery, lab equipment, and complex computer programs to perform the test.
Requirements of the Medical Lab Technician (MLT):
- Trained in an accredited MT or MLT program
- Must have (or be eligible for) the ASCP or AMT certification within 6 months of hire.
- Comfortable working in all areas of the lab.
