Our client located in the Southern Ohio is looking for a full-time Senior Histotech. Candidates with 2+ years of experience and ASCP Certification are preferred. This is an immediate hire need so do not delay in submitting your application to us today.
Responsibilities of the Senior Histotech (HT/HTL):
- Performing special histopathology procedures (immunoperoxidase, immunofluorescence, muscle histochemistry).
- Utilizes appropriate equipment with precision for all histological protocols.
- Training new staff or students.
- Performs computer data entry, recall, and labeling on complex pathology network (LIS).
- Performs routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and minor adjustments on all lab equipment.
Minimum Requirements for the Senior Histotech (HT/HTL) position:
- Two+ years of experience as an HT/HTL
- Preferred ASCP certification
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a biological or related science
