A Hospital District nestled in beautiful Eastern Oregon is seeking a director to oversee Infection Control and Employee Health. Bachelor's Degree with experience in public health, epidemiology, clinical laboratory science or a related field. Relocation assistance, a six-figure salary, and phenomenal benefits are being offered!

Responsibilities of the Infection Control/Employee Health Director:

• Responsible for identifying, investigating, monitoring, and reporting healthcare-associated infections.

• Collaborates with teams and individuals to create infection prevention strategies, provide feedback, and sustain infection prevention strategies.

• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

• Runs and maintains the Antimicrobial Stewardship program for the district.

• Is responsible for working collaboratively with HR to assure compliance in the district's employee health processes.

Requirements of the Infection Control/Employee Health Director:

• Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology (i.e.: CIC© preferred) or attainment within 5 years after employment
• Is qualified through education, training, experience, or certification in infection prevention and control, is appointed by the governing body, or responsible individual, and the recommendations of medical staff leadership and nursing leadership
