Responsibilities of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

• The technologist will assist the physician as a scrub assistant, procedure circulator, recording technician, and as needed in the Invasive Cardiovascular Services Department or any other area
• This position is responsible for meeting the needs of the Invasive Cardiovascular Services Department
• The technician will engage in learning and assisting in invasive and non-invasive cardiac testing

Requirements of the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

• BLS/ACLS certified
• Experience as a Scrub Assistant for all Procedures (Diagnostic and Interventional)
• Current licensure or registry by specialty (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist- RCIS)
