Our client in beautiful Montana is in need of an Echo Sonography Technologist to join their team. This location offers residents a suburban rural mix feel. This is a full-time, permanent position in a beautiful location. The candidate must have current knowledge of ultrasound equipment, spectral doppler, and color flow echocardiography, scanning technique, acquired and congenital cardiac anatomy, and physiology. Responsibilities for the Echo Sonography Technologist
- Performs adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and assists in transesophageal echocardiography in accordance with established practices and procedures
- Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies cardiologists of results of examinations
- Consults with a cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements
Requirements for the Echo Sonography Technologist
- Associate Degree or two-year technical Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years experience in performing diagnostic echocardiograms
- Preferred Registered; must be Registry eligible.
