This role is ideal for a bilingual Registered Dietitian who is passionate about preventive care, cardiometabolic health, and building meaningful relationships with patients. Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for intermediate-risk patients, with a primary focus on cardiometabolic conditions
- Develop individualized, evidence-based nutrition care plans tailored to patient goals, medical history, and lifestyle
- Perform physical evaluations to identify signs of malnutrition such as muscle wasting, edema, or skin changes
- Lead follow-up visits to monitor progress, adjust care plans, and provide ongoing dietary education and support
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
- Stay current on clinical nutrition research and guidelines and contribute to educational content development
- Serve as a resource and informal mentor to newer dietitians as department needs allow
- Support departmental initiatives and continuous improvement projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an ACEND-accredited program
- Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in Texas
- 0 to 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
- New graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of nutrition therapy for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive nutrition education in an outpatient setting
- Passion for patient education, collaboration, and continuous professional development
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: DOE
- Schedule: Full-time, outpatient setting
- Paid Time Off: 18 days of PTO plus 9 paid holidays for 0 to 2 years of service, with increases over time
- Retirement: 401(k) with up to 3 percent employer match
