Responsibilities of the Dietary Manager/RD:
The Manager is responsible to support administrative and operational direction for the safe, efficient, effective daily Operations, work flow and provides supervision of the daily operations for dietary services of the Health Systems nutrition resources and programs including food production, catering, cafeteria service, receiving, and patient service. Acts on behalf of the organization, supervising staff to ensure that quality meals are provided for all patients, visitors, and other customers at a level consistent with department standards. Ensures daily practices are in compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements of the Dietary Manager:
- Master's degree in nutrition related field
- RD-Registered Dietitian is required
- 2+ years of previous food service supervisory experience
- 3+ years of nutrition experience
- Experience with Hospital regulations, compliance and multi-hospital system is preferred.
