Our client in Vermont is seeking a professional Cardiac Echo Sonographer for their Diagnostic Imaging team. This permanent role is with a facility in Beautiful Central Vermont. Must have prior work experience and be registered or eligible. To be considered please send me your resume.
Responsibilities of a Cardiac Echo Sonographer:
- Under supervision, the Cardiac Sonographer utilizes high-frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis
- The Cardiac Sonographer must be able to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data that are used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis
- Must acquire and maintain specialized technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care including the injection of contrast media where applicable and institute life-saving measures
- Ability to prepare dosage and administer IV contrast
Requirements of the Cardiac Echo Sonographer:
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited educational program for Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent
- Prior work experience
- BLS certification
- Registry preferred, or registry eligible within 1 year of hire
