Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as a registered nurse, social worker or licensed counselor. 5+ years of leadership experience. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Responsibilities for the Behavioral Health Director:

• Reflects the purpose and values, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, assumes the responsibility for overall operations of the Behavioral Health Unit. Develops, implements, and promotes strategies for patient care delivery in a therapeutic milieu.

• Collaborates with medical leadership and hospital departments to meet organizational performance targets, ensure a professional work environment, facilitate timeliness of services, and enhance patient satisfaction and care for the behavioral health population.

• Effectively manages the resources of the department and meets financial targets. Models effective leadership behaviors to achieve organizational outcomes.

Minimum Job Requirements for RN/Social Worker-Director:

• 5+ years of Clinical Experience as a Registered Nurse, Social Worker or Licensed Counselor.
• 5+ years of Leadership experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Acute Care/Adult setting experience
