Highlights of the Behavioral Health Therapist Position:
- Full Time – outpatient
- Monday – Friday (flexible schedule)
- 32-40 hrs per week
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral health concerns.
- Provide evidence-based therapy services to clients using various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in behavioral health therapy, actively participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Skills Required of the Behavioral Health Therapist:
- Must have a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Relevant licensure or certification in Minnesota as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
- Demonstrated experience for at least 2 years in providing individual and group therapy to a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, and children.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, and other behavioral health conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and other members of the treatment team.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful
