Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Manager
- Works in collaboration with the Behavioral Health Director and leadership to problem solve and promote high quality care
- Supervises care staff, assists in the allocation of caseloads, coordinates activities related to mental health and substance abuse treatment
- Provides leadership in training and oversight for crisis response team
- Actively participates in meetings, case reviews, supervisory sessions, etc.
- Participates in patient care by developing plans for provision and services
- Assessment and case management, planning, including revision of care plans for patients not progressing, collaborating with billing provider via participation in psych consults
Minimum Requirements of the Behavioral Health Manager
- Active LCSW License
- 3 + years of management experience in the realm of Behavioral Health
- California licensed or eligible to obtain
