Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Currently seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to fill an opening within a Hospital setting located in Southwest Texas, about two hours outside of the San Antonio area. Interested candidates should have ARRT, RT(R) and must hold or be willing to certify with the Texas Medical Board. While two years of experience is strongly preferred, training is available for a strong candidate.

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Tech
- Ensure EKG equipment is in working order
- Monitor EKG readings during procedures, report abnormalities to physician
- Interpret test procedures, explain and reassure patients throughout the process
- Under RN supervision, work with patients through admission, recovery, and discharge process
Requirements of the Cath Lab Tech
- AART Certified
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school.
- RT, (R) registered
- Two years CT related experience and/or training required
- MRI experience preferred
