Loyal Source Government Services is looking for a qualified Orthopedic Technician to work with the Keesler Air Force Base as a civilian contractor promoting and restoring patient’s health. We offer the following benefits: Health Benefits Competitive Pay PTO and Holidays ANY state license REQUIREMENTS: Training and/or experience in at least one of the following categories must be met: Completion of a surgical technologist program recognized and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educations Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Completion of an accredited military or civilian orthopedic technologist training program. Certification by the National Board of Certification for Orthopedic Technologists (NBCOT). The above certifications/training programs exceed the training standards for an accredited Medical Assistant training program, as specified in the standard Position Description document. Applicant must have at least 12 months experience within the past 24 months working directly with orthopedic patients as an orthopedic technician. This must include experience in applying, adjusting, and removing common orthopedic casts, splints, and braces.
