(Archived) Pathology (Molecular) Laboratory Manager – MF
Job Description
Responsible of all aspects of the departmental operations, including clinical operations, administrative
functions, regulatory compliance, budget and fiscal accountability, strategic planning, process
improvement, quality, employee engagement, personnel management and service excellence. The
manager serves as a Liaison collaborating with all disciplines that interact with the Laboratory
Department. Requires a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Technology or related area. Minimum of 5
years Laboratory experience (three of which are in a molecular diagnostics laboratory). Minimum of
three years of Laboratory experience with in-depth knowledge of laboratory operations. Prefer
experience working in a large hospital laboratory setting as well as previous supervisory experience.
Reports to Laboratory Director and is supported by 17 FTE’s.
