CLINICAL Psychologist Location: 21 Area Branch Health Clinic (BHC) in support of Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP), CA Excellent Pay, Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Matching 401K), PTO (8 Hrs for 80 HRs worked) Paid Federal Holidays Work Schedule: M-F, between 0730-1630 not to exceed 80 Hrs/ 2 weeks This Clinical Psychologist position would be helping our active duty soldiers and their families with much needed medical services. QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited university. Successful completion of a psychologist intern program which has been approved by the American Psychology Association. Possess a minimum of two years postgraduate experience within the last three years as a Clinical Psychologist. Job Duties C.10.9.1. Perform a full range of clinical psychologist procedures in accordance with clinical privileges granted by the Commanding Officer. C.10.9.2. Administer programs of treatment to mentally and emotionally disturbed individual adjustments to life; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries. C.10.9.3. Assist in treating rehabilitation patients. C.10.9.4. Treat individuals in times of personal crisis such as a divorce or death of a loved one. C.10.9.5. Interview patients and study medical and social case histories. C.10.9.6. Diagnose and evaluate mental and emotional disorders of individuals and administer programs of treatment.
