They are a 48-bed facility providing a wide range of services from advanced medical treatments to personalized health system. They are a Joint Commission accredited facility and a member of the Voluntary Hospitals of America.

They are currently seeking a full-time Medical Technologist

Job Summary:

Performs a variety of lab tests, many of which are complex, involve numerous steps and techniques, and require use of professional judgment. Tests may be performed in all departments of the lab including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Serology, and EIA.

Job Specifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited school. Medical Certification is required. Additional training in specialty area may be required.

Job Knowledge: The Medical Technologist understands the use and limitations of lab equipment and apparatus, and is familiar with standard laboratory methods and techniques. The patient population must be considered when assessing job knowledge required from the employee.
