Job Description
Exciting new opportunity for a Blood Bank/ IRL Laboratory Supervisor in the Rochester, NY area. This position is located bout 20 minutes south of Rochester. may have an opening soon in our New York IRL, located in West Henrietta New York (near Rochester).
This position is eligible for sign on/ relocation bonuses. Full time permanent position offering a competitive compensation and benefits package! MUST have strong blood bank and leadership skills.
The skills/certifications we are looking for are as follows:
· Willing to work evening shift
· Hold a NYSDOE license as a clinical laboratory technologist, required
· Have at least 6 years of experience after obtaining licensure, required
· Effective communication skills, required
· SBB certification or equivalent knowledge of Immunohematology, preferred
· Experience with team building, preferred
· Knowledge of NYSDOH regulations, preferred
· Knowledge of AABB standards, preferred
· Experience with quality assurance and improvement, preferred
· Experience with technical writing and SOP development, preferred
