Loyal Source Government Services is looking to hire qualified Medical Assistants to work as civilian contractors at Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Pollock in Pollock, LA. Must have a current, unrestricted licensure in ANY STATE, territory or commonwealth of the United States, District of Columbia, Virgin Islands, Guam or Puerto Rico. Requirements: - Resume - Degree Information (Must include: Type of Degree, Major, Name of School, City, State, Graduation Date MM/YYYY) - Certification or Registration Qualifications: - Must be Certified as a Medical Assistant - Must have a minimum of one year of experience in the duties of a Medical Assistant Scope of Work: Medical Assistant services will include, but are not limited to: - Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments for medical providers in chronic care clinics, sick-call appointments, and physical examinations - Communicating patient messages to the medical providers - Capturing and documenting vital signs - entering and updating patient medical and family history in the electronic medical record system - Assisting with clinical procedures by preparing instruments - Immunization Administration - Operation of EKG machines - Maintain supplies in all exam rooms Work hours include: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (excluding Federal holidays) with a 30 minute lunch period.
