Job Description
Actively hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor in southern Maine. This position is located on the southern coast near Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. These are picturesque New England towns that are beautiful year round.
The Hospital is known for its passion for centering care around patients and families, and providing unbelievable experiences for all.
Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical care and management to clients and their families
- Sets a work schedule that is flexible and allows for optimum availability to clients (some evenings are required for Intensive Outpatient Groups.)
- Counsels in-patient hospital clients
- Day shift; typically 9-5 (with some evenings as needed)
Qualifications:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or LCPC preferred (with LADC)
- Expertise in addictions counseling preferred
- 5+ years experience required
