Job Description
The Animal Control Technician will be responsible for performance for animal control services at Fort Irwin, CA.
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
- High School Diploma.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Animal Control Services or other related specialty.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge on methods/protocols established by California Department of Fish and Wildlife, San Bernardino County and the Army/Fort Irwin, preferred.
- Animal caretaker knowledge and skills, preferred.
- Animal control knowledge and skills, preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
