Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)
StartDate: 01/06/2020Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1800.00 - 2200.00

CHEYENNE, WYOMING. 100 Mile Radius Rule. Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Current ARRT registry. Current Interventional Radiology registry. Wyoming State Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain by start date). AHA BLS. Ability to perform on-call duties. The Interventional Radiologic Technologist works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and the general direction of the Director of Medical Imaging. Under the direct supervision of a physician performs interventional procedures and operates specialized equipment. Ensures that all studies meet the established standard of the radiologist, radiation oncologist and other involved referring physician. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Performs and/or assists in performing procedures by following physician orders. 2. Performs all designated interventional radiology procedures, ensuring that all studies meet the established standards of the radiologists, radiation oncologists and other involved referring physicians. 3. Provides appropriate information to patient and family during exams to provide a calming influence throughout the study. 4. Performs all quality control procedures required, including surveys, quality control tests and other procedures required by federal regulations and the medical physicist. 5. Maintains standards on equipment for accrediting by state and/or federal agencies. 6. Ensures that all preventive maintenance occurs as scheduled; provides leadership with information regarding all equipment failures. 7. Maintains a positive work environment by demonstrating positive interpersonal relations with co-workers, physicians, patients and others. 8. Participates in call as required.
