Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)
StartDate: 10/07/2019Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1800.00 - 2200.00

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL. START DATE: 10/7/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: 5 days a week 8 hours a day, shifts vary on start time from 07:00, 08:00 and 09:00. Call required up to 12 days a month, ideally we try for 9-10 days a month. REQUIRED SKILLS: 3+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. IEMA certification is required as well. Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Illinois licensure is required. American Registry of Radiologic Technology Credentials in Radiology required. Three years' experience as a Cardiac Catheterization technologist, with CPR and ACLS certification. Radiology Techs will scrub cases, and do hemodynamic monitoring. BLS and ACLS required (ACLS can be obtained while working). Radiology X-ray equipment includes Philips Allure one room, GE Innova (1 room), Siemens (older model, two rooms with one to be replaced in 2019 with Philips Azurian). Hemodynamic Recording Equipment Merge, being upgraded to Merge (originally Camtronics) software upgrade to latest version summer of 2019. IR procedures, wide variety of Interventional radiology procedures including uterine artery embolization, looking at Wavelinq endovascular AV fistula graft making. Cardiac: Coronary diagnostics, right and left heart, left heart and interventional PCI/stenting, high risk impella assisted pci, STEMIs, FFR and IVUS utilizing Volcano system, Pericardiocentesis, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, Developing more structural heart cases in the near future (Watchman Left atrial occlusions). Peripheral Vascular Procedures: Diagnostic angiography arterial and venous systems, Carotid angiography, Carotid stenting, EVAR Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, TEVAR Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair.
