Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)

START DATE: 3/11/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: Days with call. REQUIRED SKILLS: We are looking for a neuro trained interventional radiology tech that can also do body work. Neuro trained is a must. It is dayshift hours Monday-Friday with rotational call every 4th week. ARRT. SCRQSA required, BLS. Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT. 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. The Interventional Technologist is responsible for overall care and evaluation of patients having invasive procedures performed in the Interventional Lab. These duties include circulating, physiologically monitoring patients during procedures, and performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular procedures, and other physician guided invasive procedures. This position reports directly to the supervisor of Interventional Radiology. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor. Employee must have the same licensure or have completed the same training to satisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervision means the primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift. Please alert the traveler that this job has an extensive credentialing process! The traveler MUST complete online Healthstream Modules that can take anywhere from 2-4 hours that are UNPAID. Credentialing time frame is 3 weeks. MUST be able to verify employment up to 7 years or more both clinical and non-clinical.
