Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)
StartDate: 03/25/2019Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $38.00 - 43.00

START DATE: 3/25/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: 8:30AM - 5:00PM (4, 8hour shifts, call every other weekend, potential for week night call). REQUIRED: Performs a variety of invasive diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the Special Procedures & Cardiac Cath departments. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI and QA activities. Primarily Days - Call will be every other F-S-S + One day per week. Working schedule negotiable. The Saturday on call can be a scheduled shift. If they would like 32 hours per week that works too.One to three years' experience in radiographic procedures with emphasis in invasive procedures, required. Previous experience in Special Procedures or Cardiac Cath. Graduate from an accredited school in Radiology Technology is required. Current Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, required. Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in CVRT, preferred. A permit to practice as a Radiology Technologist in the State of Montana is required. Licensure in BCLS and ACLS prior to performing procedures on their own is required. Ability to achieve cognitive, organization and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations and/or customers. Possesses interpersonal/communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations. Open to feedback and open to a changing environment, which requires flexibility in scheduling and department assignments. Demonstrated ability to effectively and creatively solve problems with a minimum of immediate supervision. Demonstrated ability to plan and use time wisely. Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with patients/families who may be under physical and emotional stress. Gather and exchange information effectively with nursing personnel, physicians, and customers. Ability to enter data accurately using the computer.
