Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)

SHIFT: Days 8 & 10 hour shifts. Call Requirements: Varied.

Required Qualifications
Licensure/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT. her Helpful or Misc. Information: Neuro and Body procedures. Siemens, GE & Philips systems. GE PACS for image storage. Fantastic personable physicians to work with. 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. All travelers are required to float, please advise traveler they will float too! Be advise traveler might float between facilities. Documentation system: Meditech. Procedures perform in unit: All VIR bod and Neuro cases. Building/Floor/Suite information of unit: Presby Building / VIR suite. Patient Experience requirements: conscious sedation experience. All Body Neuro cases in VIR. Operates standard radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastro-intestinal series and body section radiography. Assists physicians and performs specialized imaging procedures. Maintains records, inventory, and equipment for area responsibility. Patient Ratios- 6 to 7 techs scheduled during the evening hours to cover ER (1st floor dept) and inpatients (2nd floor dept). Type of equipment-GE AMX4 retrofitted with Konica DR, Fuji DR portables, GE RF rooms, OEC C-Arms, Ziehms C-Arms. Trauma imaging (Level 1 trauma facility). Fluoro - swallow studies, LP's, myelograms. Routine exams on inpatients.
