Job Description
Continuum Medical Staffing has an opportunity for a Surgical Tech for a CardioVascular OR in a leading hospital in Ohio.
DEPARTMENT: Operating Room
SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Senior Clinical Director, Operating Room
TITLES SUPERVISED: None
TOTAL NUMBER OF FTEs DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY SUPREVISED: 0
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide expert technical patient care during the intra-operative phase in both
basic and complex surgical cases. Functions primarily in the scrub role or assists the circulator to
facilitate the efficient and safe progress of surgical cases. Assists with the maintenance of surgical
instruments, supplies, and equipment. Serves as a leader, resource, and role model in the provision of
quality patient care during the intra-operative phase.
Qualifications
Required:
• Surgical Tech Diploma
• Certified Surgical Tech (LCCST or equivalent with a minimum of 125 completed surgical cases in the scrub
role)
• Documentation of at least 15 continuing education hours a year
