Experienced Surgical Technologist needed in Central TX

Still hiring during COVID-19.

The Surgical Scrub Technician assists in the provision of patient care based on the nursing process and in compliance with the policies, protocols, and procedures of the hospital. The Scrub Tech is accountable for maintaining and improving their own nursing knowledge and skills. He/she shows proficiency in the organizational and technical skills involved in the surgical setting in assisting the surgeon in operative cases. He/she demonstrates patient-centered/patient-valued behaviors. He/she demonstrates knowledge and skill in meeting age-related and handicapped patient needs.

Quick Facts -
  • Certified as a scrub technician as evidenced by certification from & graduate of a surgical technology program
  • Prior experience preferred; new graduates accepted
  • Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Call required one day per week 3 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. and one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
  • Current BLS required
