(Archived) Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

• Exciting Opportunity for a Full Time Surgical Technologist to join our growing team in Southern Maine! This is a full time (36 hours per week), Day shift, Monday - Friday position.

  We currently have an opening for an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist. This is a full time, 36 hours a week position working days and is located in York, Maine.

  The Certified Surgical Technologist is a member of the surgical team in the operating room who assists in delivering direct patient care in the intra-operative setting.

  Primary job responsibilities include:

• Primary Scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedures. Assists with any other duties needed.

• Minimum (2) years of Surgery Tech experience preferred

• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.

• BLS (CPR Certification)

• Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology program

The area is close in proximity to Boston, Massachusetts (1 1/4 hour), Portland, Maine (3/4 hour) and Portsmouth, NH (15 minutes). The school systems in our community are superb.
