Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Mankato, MN - New Grads Welcome!

A leading healthcare facility in the Mankato, Minnesota area is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join its surgical services team!

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent opportunity

• Rotating operating room call required

• Collaborative surgical services environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment

• Maintain sterile fields and follow proper aseptic techniques

• Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure necessary supplies are available

• Assist with instrument sterilization and processing

• Prepare surgical case carts and maintain preference cards

• Support patient safety and quality care throughout surgical procedures

• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient operating room operations

Qualifications:

• Current CST certification or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hire required

• BLS/CPR certification required at time of hire

• New graduates welcome!

• Experience with sterile processing and surgical instrumentation preferred

• Inventory and materials management experience preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting as needed
