A leading orthopedic healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support surgeons and clinical teams throughout a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with orthopedic surgeons and healthcare professionals while helping maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable preparing surgical equipment, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, and maintaining a strong focus on patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical supplies, instruments, equipment, and the sterile field for procedures

• Perform surgical scrub and assist with gowning and gloving of the surgical team

• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures

• Assist surgeons and other members of the surgical team during procedures

• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and provide appropriate instruments and supplies

• Perform intraoperative counts and maintain accurate documentation

• Properly prepare and handle surgical specimens

• Don appropriate OR attire and PPE

• Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases

• Support terminal room cleaning and next-case setup

• Follow established infection prevention, safety, and surgical protocols

• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia personnel, and other clinical staff
