Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support a busy Operating Room by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring safe, efficient surgical procedures. This role is essential to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting a collaborative surgical team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures

• Maintain the sterile field and adhere to aseptic technique at all times

• Review preference cards and proactively prepare for upcoming cases

• Anticipate surgeon needs to facilitate efficient procedures and minimize patient risk

• Communicate effectively with surgeons and surgical team members

• Act as a patient advocate, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

• Apply AST standards and hospital policies to all aspects of care

• Assist in identifying and responding appropriately to intraoperative emergencies

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training

• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
