Job Description
Surgical Technologist - Operating Room (OR)
Schedule:
- 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, on call as needed, with rotating weekends
- Permanent and full-time hire
- Full benefits

Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary scrub person assisting the surgical team during procedures under RN supervision
- Ensure patient confidentiality, safety, and care standards are met
- Adhere to aseptic practices and maintain knowledge of surgical techniques and equipment
- Handle instrument counts, medication labeling, specimen handling, and participate in pre-procedure checks
- Assist in training new staff and students
Qualifications:
- Completion of a nationally accredited surgical technology program and certification within 6 months of hire
- OR completion of an accredited program and certification within 18 months of completion or 6 months of hire
- Prior experience as a surgical technologist or relevant military training
- Valid BLS certification
